A. L. Huber's relationship with Phelps Technologies is in it's second generation; Huber constructed additions and renovations for Phelps since 1963. Riding the crest of the computer technology wave in the early 90's, this manufacturer of computer components found itself needing a larger space and needing it ready for production in only 16 weeks. This was a four-phase project on a twenty-acre site. The first phase was the immediate renovation of a 108,000 square foot production facility. The second involved a 71,000 square foot expansion for production. Third was a 15,000 square foot, two-story office addition and, finally, the volume of production required a fourth phase consisting of the construction of a transport truck staging and maneuvering area.
