The Raphael Hotel is a one of a kind boutique hotel located on the Country Club Plaza. Originally constructed in 1927 as the Villa Serena Apartments, the building was transformed into the Raphael Hotel in 1975 with a renovation that faithfully preserved historically significant features while providing for the needs of contemporary travelers. In 2007 the owners decided that it was time for another transformation. Because of our extensive experience with historic renovations, A.L. Huber was selected as the General Contractor for this project. The tranformation will include remodeling the hotel lobby, guestrooms, and courtyard, plus adding new corporate meeting and board rooms, along with a new fitness center. The lobby phase of the project will be finished by Thanksgiving, 2007, and the balance of the project is scheduled to be complete in the fall of 2008.
