Inclusion

At A.L. Huber, we are fully committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture within our teams and projects. We understand the importance of creating an environment where everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and talents.

Our diversity policy is ingrained in everything we do. We recognize and appreciate the inherent value of diversity and actively work to cultivate an inclusive workplace that celebrates differences in age, ethnicity, gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, and more.

Our commitment to diversity extends beyond our internal operations and is reflected in our project approaches. During the preconstruction phase, we take a proactive stance by advertising and soliciting projects for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (MBE), and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) businesses, regardless of whether the project specifically requires it. We have longstanding relationships within the Kansas City construction industry and prioritize engaging with diverse businesses. This approach is not just about meeting requirements but about valuing and promoting inclusivity and opportunity.

Our initiatives throughout the project are rooted in respectful communication and cooperation among all parties involved. We ensure that diverse voices are not just heard but respected. We actively promote teamwork and encourage participation from individuals representing various backgrounds and perspectives, recognizing that this diversity fuels innovation and drives success. This commitment to respect and cooperation is a cornerstone of our approach, and we are always dedicated to upholding it.
