The Kansas City Art Institute won a Capstone Award from the Kansas City Business Journal. In collaboration with Newmark Zimmer and Helix Architecture + Design, the project restored a once-historic home into the new Vanderslice Admissions building for KCAI.
This project included extensive preconstruction services, high-end finishes, historic renovation and preservation, and complex HVAC system upgrades. The Vanderslice project was strategically phased into seven projects to accommodate the busy, occupied campus.
