A landmark in Leawood, Kansas, the beautiful Bank of Blue Valley building utilizes various exterior materials. A. L. Huber’s meticulous attention to detail made this project successful. Preconstruction conferences were held prior to the beginning of the installation of each different building system. The details were explained, discussed, and understood by everyone involved, which benefits the project schedule. The bank and drive-through are located on the first level, and the second story allows for tenant offices or additional bank office space.
Integration of sustainability elements, including the sun shades over the south façade, was an important aspect of this building.
