The ReStart Housing apartment complex provides housing for young adults who have aged out of foster care yet still require support. The wood-frame structure includes 14 apartments, 750 sq. ft. each, a community room with a counseling office, and an administrative office. The flat roof design includes bringing light into the space via light-wells. We incorporated durable yet attractive finishes throughout the living and support spaces to meet the needs of the high traffic the building was going to see. This project was a Capstone Award Winner.
